You deserve a financial partner who gets it

The Meaning Behind the Name

In aviation, one of the most demanding situations a pilot faces is a crosswind landing. Strong winds push the aircraft sideways, requiring precision and calm decision-making to land safely.

Nonprofit organizations face similar crosswinds every day. Navigating these conditions requires experienced financial leadership.

Crosswind CFO Advisory exists to help leaders navigate through turbulent conditions and land safely.

Your Mission Deserves Financial Clarity

Meet Michael Baldree, CPA

Michael spent 10 years overseas founding a nonprofit. He built it from the ground up by raising the funding, navigating foreign government regulations, and establishing its legal status.

He also served as a CFO of an $11M nonprofit in Ohio and also has significant experience as a major gift officer. This rare combination provided Michael firsthand experience on both sides of the financial equation.

Michael holds a CPA, an MBA, and a Master of Divinity. He founded Crosswind CFO Advisory because nonprofit finances need someone who understands both the numbers and the mission.
